Sweet Dreams Teddy

23 Jul

Today, after eighteen and a half wonderful years with my sweet Pomeranian, Teddy, Jim and I made a decision to let him go to sleep.

I can’t write too much about this, except to say that he was a beautiful dog.  He gave us much joy and many laughs.  Everyone who came into our home, loved Teddy.

He wasn’t yippy.  He didn’t bite.  His disposition was unbelievable.  For 16 of his 18 years he looked like a show dog with the loving personality of a playful mutt.

My Teddy took a good run at life.

We are sad.  He will be missed.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. Teddy was a good dog. Hope you guys are OK; my thoughts are with you. I lost my 18-year-old kitty a few months ago and it is so hard.

So sad. George and I are crying with you and Jim.

We will always be grateful that you let us get our “doggie fix” with your Teddy when we were “between dogs.”

Teddy brought us much joy. We miss him already.

You are absolutely right, Everyone who came into your home loved Teddy. He has been with you two for 18 wonderful years, devoted, faithful, loveable cute. It was a pleasure to be able to meet and care for him.

I too feel the sadness, my sincerest condolences, and I am so sorry for the loss of teddy who was certainly like family.

I am sad with you to hear this news. You are right teddy was nothing like what you think of when you think about such small dogs. None of that nervousness or yippie constant barking. He was a tough little character that belied his beautifu, as you said, show dog appearance. You couldn’t help falling in love with him as soon as you met him. He brought joy to many and we who love you and Jim also share your grief. So long Teddy.

Teddy was a special little dog. Despite his ailments he was friendly, and always made us smile. We should take a page from his book.
Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

    To All,

It is wonderful when your friends prop you up when you are bowed in times of grief. Thank you all. It is appreciated more than you know.

    Affectionately,
    Sopia and Jim

Richard and I were so sad to hear this. Teddy will truly be missed. For such a small package, he had such a huge personality.

Hugs and kisses to both of you.
